for REAL?

If THIS doesn't make your blood boil, you're not alive.
It makes me want to say swear words.

Not surprising, AT ALL. The CEOs are all making out big time, while their employees all lose their jobs.

This is why I don't like the bailout. I have a feeling it's going to be super abused.

Its like the Everybody Loves Raymond episode when Ray gives his brother a loan and his brother takes a vacation.

I don't want a depression exactly, but the fact is, the whole "healthy economy" they are trying to save is an economy based entirely on borrowed money. That's not healthy. Eventually, a payment is due...and its due big time now.

Yeah, I wasn't OK with this bailout either. That Spa Story really makes me mad.

This whole bailout was a bunch of bullshiz!! And....when I read that story I, many, many swear words were mulling around in my head!!

What?!! They want to TAKE MY MONEY for this?!

Unfortunately, I'm not the least bit surprised. Pretty cynical of me, huh?

The bailout was a fantastically horrible idea, and the only thing that really pisses me off about this story is that it seems they're only now, because of a silly spa trip, questioning the advisability of it.

No one wants a depression, but more people need to take Econ 101, because frankly, the market runs in cycles, and if it never depresses, you'd end up with never ending inflation. It needs to depress. Much like the forest needs to burn. The government is trying larger and larger "control burns" and the market is all out of wack because of it. If Bush had just let a recession happen a few years back, instead of messing with interest rates prematurely, it might have never gotten to this point. And certainly, if we hadn't decided that home ownership was some sort of right, vs a priviledge, we also wouldn't be where we are. Someone has to pay the piper, and government is making sure that that is an equal opportunity event as well.

(Can you tell I'm annoyed ... )
