Do you have a personal mission statement? Do you have a family mission statement? Does your spouse have a personal mission statement? This has been on my mind here and there for a few months now, last night I picked up my old copy of "The Seven Habits" (wow am I so much more ready to read this now than I was 13 years ago)and read again this suggestion. I'm wondering what other's experiences with developing a personal mission statement and living by that statement have been.
Share? I don't care if you leave a comment, send an email, or blog and link, just want to see what's out there. You don't have to specifically share your statement, but I'm curious about your experiences living by it.

The more naked, the merrier.
i started this the first of 2008 i was going to choose a new one for every year. then i thought this was a life time commitment.
i called it my "Mantra"..
a word or phrase repeated often,is what i believed it to mean.
then one day i heard the term "Vision Statement". that was what i needed.
a statement that focuses on the future..
then it was my "Mission Statement". my present state each and every day. that is something i am going to do for the rest of my life..
so i now have a "mantra"
a "Mission Statement"
and a "vision Statement"
all in one..it is..
"remember to look for the good in every day"
now each year i just choose a new word to focus on, and improve on my life this year i picked 2 they are Faith and Joy.
Years ago my family heard a statement in an audiobook, and adopted it as our family motto:
"We LIKE complications!" (The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler)
It's gotten us into a lot of trouble ever since.
