I received this in my in-box today in regards to my post about JoAnn Fabric and Crafts.
I'm all about being fair and considering other perspectives. Apparently I was mistaken and forgot that it is MY responsibility as the shopper to make sure I get friendly service. My bad.

Maybe if you shoppers were a little nicer workers wouldn't be the way they are, looks like you walk in looking for something to complain about"
What is our country coming to?????? When we walk into a store where the employees are being PAID to help us, they should be bending over backwards to do so. I will agree, that sometimes customers can be rude and ignorant. But, you are there to help us. Don't act all put out that we asked you a question or asked you to cut our material straight. It's your job. You signed up to do it. I"m not forcing you to do it.
So anonymous, if you hate your job so bad and don't want to work there anymore, sign up at the local community college, get a degree and do something else. Until then, shut your freakin' pie hole and go find me some cute Christmas fabric.
All I have to say is that the customer can take their business elsewhere. And if the employees are rude, the customer WILL take their business elsewhere. I know I have.
Here's my latest beef with JoAnn's. They send out these 40% and 50% off coupons, then they put all the Halloween (or whatever holiday or event is near) fabric on sale for 20% - 30% off and you can't use your coupon for sale items.
Were you aware that Hancock fabrics will accept the coupons from JoAnn's?

Was that too harsh? Too bad.
Maybe.
And maybe if the customer service was good, people would be nicer. It works both ways.
Call me crazy, but I kind of think it should be the employee's job to make the customer happy and NOT the other way around.
