It used to be I had so many ideas, I'd make multiple entries a day and schedule them out sometimes as much as two weeks in advance. I haven't had an interesting thought in two weeks. And heck, if I'm not interested, I know you aren't going to be! Maybe I could have written about the sharks jumping on shore in last night's dream, or the time I woke up realizing that all night long I had been a 14 year old black boy in my dreams...but there's gotta be some crazy psychology behind all that and while I'm not against you thinking I'm wierd or silly, I am quite against anybody knowing how disturbed I may or may not be. I could write a travelogue, or not! I was kind of thinking of throwing down a 1930's menu planning post to go along with the 1930's housewife test tag/meme. I have two really great 1930's cookbooks that have some really fun stuff in them (if you consider soaking your squirrel overnight in saltwater to take the gaminess out "fun").

I totally feel you. Last week, I needed to just take a break from writing. I actually have ideas, but I had no inclination whatsoever to actually sit down and do a post.
But, once I did, the creative juices came flowing back.
I feel ya. The only think on my mind right now is what lie ahead tomorrow. Hopefully once that's out of the way I will be back to normal (whatever that is).
I hope that you get your mojo back--maybe you should contact Austin Powers!!
i feel exactly the same way, no little interesting thought bubbles coming up here...
Sometimes that happens to me too. Don't beat yourself up over it. Everyone needs a break sometime!

OK, so soaking a squirrel in salt water overnight to get rid of the gaminess IS interesting. I wonder if we are stranded in a hopeless depression if that would work for other live game, too? :)
That's why I took a break last week.
It's still not totally back, but maybe a little bit better.
Ebb and flow! We all go through it.
I'm having trouble coming up with ideas to write about.
After reading the previous comments, it looks like it's others are struggling with the same thing.
Maybe we've all been infected with the "bloggersblock virus"
Like any other virus, give it some time and it will probably just go away on it's own.
I think it's the spring doldrums. Is there a such thing?
I would love to hear the 1930's recipes!!! I love vintage cookbooks and that is one of my favorite time periods!
I understand too. I think I just need the SUN. I've forgotten what it looks like.
